FORGET ME NOT FIELDS
Natural Burial Ground
VISITING A PLOT
Opening Times
Forget Me Not Fields is open for visitors 365 days per year during daylight hours. If you're visiting someone already interred at Forget Me Not Fields then there's no need to book a visit.
Finding Forget Me Not Fields
The entrance to Forget Me Not Fields is at the top of Church Lane on the right. ///slumped.globe.conquests
Parking
Please park in the visitor car park as shown on the map below. We ask all visitors to park in the visitor car park then proceed to the burial ground itself on foot. ///received.peroxide.tonsils
Do not park on the lane outside the main burial ground gates as this blocks access for those attending a booked interment, maintenance vehicles and those accessing the dog park.
Access
Once you've parked if you look in the corner of the car park you'll see the visitor information notice board. The board has the combination code to the two gates. You may proceed on foot down to the burial ground itself using the access code to open the two gates. Please lock them behind you after use.
Finding Your Plot
The What3Words reference for your plot has been provided to the person who organised the interment as part of the visitor pack.
Site Regulations
When visiting you must comply with the site regulations. These regulations are essential to combine a proper respect for the dead, with a suitable management and planting programme in order to create an area that is peaceful, pleasant, ecologically rich and a fitting memorial.
Any floral tributes left must be biodegradable with no oasis or plastic wrapping. You can see all site regulations here.
Accessibility
If you require access with a vehicle to permit those with reduced mobility to visit a plot then please get in touch here.
We need to make sure that the vehicle won't interfere with maintenance vehicles or a booked burial / interment.
